Reading of Academic IELTS vs General training IELTS

Time period: Well, equal time of 60 minutes is provided in case of both the academic and gt candidates in reading. It’s important to note that no extra time is given to transfer the answers. So, it is crucial to transfer them on the sheet in capital letters as soon as candidates find them.

Scoring:
For every right response on the reading test, you receive one point. Your final band score is calculated from your raw score, which is determined by the total number of right answers you have provided. Since unanswered questions result in no marks, it is imperative that you attempt every question.

Marking for IELTS General training and IELTS academic is also different as in case of former, one has to score more in order to get more bands
